Civil Heavy Highway Superintendent

Lead field operations on bridge, road, and heavy civil projects across Massachusetts.

We're hiring an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field execution on our public-works projects. You'll run crews, coordinate subs, manage schedules, and own quality and safety on site. This is a hands-on, owner-trusted role with direct line to leadership.

Responsibilities
  • ·Direct daily field operations across active job sites
  • ·Coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
  • ·Manage schedule, productivity, and quality against the contract documents
  • ·Own site safety: enforce OSHA compliance and lead safety briefings
  • ·Communicate progress, issues, and change orders to project management
Requirements
  • ·5+ years as a Superintendent (or strong Foreman with super experience)
  • ·Background in heavy civil / highway: bridges, paving, drainage, site work
  • ·Familiarity with MassDOT specs and municipal public-works processes
  • ·Comfortable reading plans, running estimates, and managing a crew
  • ·Valid driver's license; OSHA 10 (30 preferred)
